Scott St. Gelais was my guest today on the Prosperity Lighthouse Show – Living Your Passion. He joined us to share his story about how he has successfully built his company GeeksInPhoenix.com after being laid off just 18 months ago.
It was truly a joy to have this opportunity to talk with Scott. He inspired me by sharing these pearls of wisdom.
1) I don’t work. I create.
2) The only thing that limits me is my imagination.
These 2 gems really hit home for me. The first made me think about all the times I say I have work to do. Doesn’t sound fun, does it? But to say ‘I create.’ Wow, feels more empowering. Feels like I’m behind the action. The 2nd statement makes me think about how often we limit ourselves because we base what is possible on what others have already done or weren’t able to do. But really there are no limits other than the ones we place on ourselves.
